The concept is to spread one idea across three shirts.  These shirts together will form one idea.  When people all over the world wear a warming shirt, they will be connected through the shirts like they are connected by global warming. 

One shirt alone does not convey the message - communication will be needed to do this.  Communication creates awareness.
